The better game is 1 for sure even putting aside that issue though. While LEGO Indiana Jones 2 has more content overall and covers all the movies (for now) the first game has much better level design and is way more enjoyable I think. So yeah I would definitely have to recommend LEGO Indiana Jones 1.
