TheBIOS update can be initiated from inside Windows. If a Dell computer is unable to boot into the Operating System, the BIOS update can be initiated using the F12 One Time Boot menu. Most Dell computers manufactured after 2012 have this function and you can confirm by booting the computer to the F12 One Time Boot menu.
However I cannot seem to get the C24-760 to boot from the USB. I have been through the BIOS setup and tried to set the USB as the first boot device, but it does not show as an option. I was looking through some other settings and saw one that was disabled - CSM. I enabled it to see what would happen and all of a sudden I could see
Usuallythe temporary boot key is F12 for Acer PCs/laptops. Have you tried rapidly clicking this key as soon as you see the Acer logo on boot? This seems to require enabling first: Press F12 to access the Acer boot menu. Go to the Main menu tab by pressing the right arrow button. Press the down arrow to select F12 Boot Menu.
ryzcamacho try using the Acer eRecovery Management. You can launch it in two ways: - By pressing the hotkey + during the boot-up process, or at any time when you are running Windows. - From the Start menu, go to Start > (All) Programs > Empowering Technology > Acer eRecovery - Acer Aspire One ZG5.
Thespecific model is Aspire ES15 ES1--533-CL42, I've tapped F2 when it's booting up and in goes into Windows every time. F12 also leads to Windows. Fast Boot is disabled in settings although I don't understand why a Windows setting might affect that.
