My first thought was check the plug and filter. - plug was done, filter looked new still. - replaced the plug, but no change. My neighbor said it’s probably the “shear pin”. I watched a video on replacing that, but when I got there on mine it appears to me to be good and solid still (see pic) I then think gas/carb.
Im guessing thats the idea, its probably smoething to do with average ownership is only 5-7 years of a lawnmower, so these are made to last that long. Like cars nowadays 100k is their limit. and water. there is a reason they recommend changing engine oil at least once a year regardless of mileage or usage.
